L’Eveil (Awakening) a commission from a Mona Kastell theatre production to Red Retina Photography to capture the essence of the costume performance as part of The Arches Live project in 2012. ”L’Eveil deals with the themes of growth, transformation, beauty and disfigurement. It pushes the boundaries of costume and grows further the role of costume as the centre of performance instead of its typically established decorative role.”
